Signing

This is so easy. Addison's mom is majoring in deaf studies. She has taught Addison to sign for milk. For fun, visit here.

Addie Stands Up

I have been rather delinquent in posting. I have had some time with Addie on Sundays and love it! Enjoy.

Addison at 3-1/2 months

Adam has been bringing her over on Thursdays or Fridays so I can spend time with them. (I am seeing him more now than before!) When she is awake, she is so vibrant. I am trying to figure out her hair. Her mother has beautiful thick, curly, auburn hair. Addison's hair looks lighter each time I see her, and it seems to have a little 'poof' on the top (curls!).

Addison's First Party

On January 27th, her dad turned 25. There is something special about being 2-1/2 weeks old and being the center of attention without an effort.

Hopefully, soon I will upload pictures of her with her eyes open.

She is such a blessing.

More of Addison!

It's amazing the differences when I see her. The gaps between visits are just enough for her to progress and grow. (Please don't do that too quickly, Addie!)

Her great-grandmother was quick to point out how visible her little chin dimple is. It has been 3 days since I have seen, and I am feeling the need for an 'Addie-fix.' She has stolen my heart.

My First Grandchild...She's a girl!

Welcome to the world, Addison.

She is perfect and healthy! What a blessing.
More later...her grandmother is tired!

A New Year and a New Adventure

I have spent a great deal of time over the past year reading and admiring all of the artwork shared by very talented people. I have been inspired by their creativity and now find that I must 'pay it forward.'

You will see a variety of things that I would like to share. I have been labeled a 'selective overachiever' which I don't necessarily see as a bad thing. With that said, I have a long list of favorite things.

I just recently got a new laptop. During the process, I transferred all of my pictures to the new one and found 2 photos that give me a great deal of pleasure. One I took after returning from an Alaskan cruise. My husband and I decided to stay at a bed and breakfast at the bottom of Mount Rainier. They had a small trout lake in the back, and our dinner in the restaurant came from there. (It just doesn't get fresher than that.)

The other photo was take from the deck of a condo we were staying in near the Lake Michigan shore. I don't feel the need to tell you which is which, but here begins a list of my favorite things!

Happy New Year!
