Meet Grandbaby #2

On April 12, my daughter-in-law and son invited me to the ultrasound. I can't begin to count the number of baby ultrasounds I have seen and done but nothing compares to watching this one (and, of course, Addie's). I stopped doing sonograms in 2006 and I still had the check list going in my head. The exciting news was the baby looks great and growth is on track. The dessert is he is a boy! I can't wait to meet this little guy but we are still 4 months away.

Until next time...

Stamping with a Renewed Focus

As I begin to phase from being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator to just paper crafting for fun, I find that I am stamping more often and with more relaxation. I loved being a demonstrator but spent a lot of time stamping to create what I thought other people would like. My favorite stamp designs are by Stampin' Up!, Hero Arts, Penny Black and Papertrey Ink. The card today was done with a Hero Arts stamp and Copic markers. The border punch is Stampin' Up! and the greeting is Papertrey Ink (PTI).

The ribbon is 1/4" white silk ribbon and colored it with a Copic marker to match the image.

Sundays with Addie

I really look forward to spending Sunday afternoons with Addie. We have such a routine with her and are working on adding a few things. During the summer, we usually water the flowers but, since it was raining today, we spent time watching the water drip from the gutter to the flower bed.

She'll be comin' around the mountain...

in her new apron! Addie loves that song. We have to sing it (along with the iPod) and clap (hands in action). It's tough to catch her standing still but this got close. This is the apron I made for her after I returned from Florida visiting my mother. Mom's friend, Marilyn, helped pick out the fabric. It's hard to believe she is already 2 years old. Time with her on Sunday afternoon is a great way to start a week!
